Welcome to a virtual stock market game for the 2016 U.S.
Presidential Election.
You will receive virtual cash and virtual stocks which represent either Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton.Your job is to trade stocks in a way that will maximize the value of your asset portfolio by the end of the game.
Please note that the price of a stock captures the % share of votes that a candidate will receive in the election.
For example, if you think Trump will receive 45% of the vote, then you would expect the final price of ‘Trump stock’ to be $45.
If you see someone who wants to sell his or her stock at $42, you will want to buy the stock, because that would be a good deal from your perspective.
If the stock price increases to $45 as you expected, then you will gain from that trade.
The game will be stopped at an unspecified time around the day of the election.
At the end of the game, your asset value (cash plus stocks) will be evaluated.
Rewards will be provided based on your performance.
